The African American Student Union Black Leadership Conference is looking for the Universities with the most encouraging, supportive, and uplifting students to compete for the 2012 Pendulum Award.
The goal of this project is to gather people of different backgrounds and work together towards one common goal, that common goal being to give people the help needed to advance in this world despite their race, political, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Your school should document how this project impacts your community. We encourage schools to think outside of the box. With the conference’s theme in mind, we would like to see fresh ideas on how to better serve our communities. It must somehow relate to this year’s conference theme. You can interpret it however you choose to. All projects are to be documented and presented in some form of multimedia and sent to communityservice.blc@gmail.com.
